America loves sex. Duh.

In a new study conducted by the Guttmacher Institute they have found that 95% of all American’s have premarital sex. The group has a pretty public opinion of abstinence only teaching but so do I so… there. Take that as you will.

The study found women virtually as likely as men to engage in premarital sex, even those born decades ago. Among women born between 1950 and 1978, at least 91 percent had had premarital sex by age 30, he said, while among those born in the 1940s, 88 percent had done so by age 44.

Which, to put it mildly, is that we’re humans who like sex. There’s really not much that can change that. And while abstinence is a viable option is it not the ONLY option. Not giving people the information with which to make better decisions is dead-fucking-wrong. It’s archaic thinking that harkens back to a time where people… well, according to the study… were having as much premarital sex as us. Hell, you gotta learn it from someone.
